2011 Residential Consultant of the Year Award Goes to...
Elwine Burger, Residential Consultant of Crown Johannesburg, won first place award as the 2011 Best Residential Consultant.
The well known competition was run by the South African Professional Movers Association (PMA). Relocations companies throughout South Africa were invited to join by the president of the association.
Elwine, as well as all other participants, were faced with experienced competitors selected for consideration from many well-established relocation companies. Her skills and years of experience were recognized by industry members and leaders. She received many positive comments at the award ceremony. One of the attendees stated, "Elwine's personality and sales ability made all the other regional winners look like newcomers to the industry!"
"I'm honored to have been recognized by the organization," said Elwine. She further explained her love for the job. Her daily responsibilities, including interacting and helping the clients, is her passion.
"I meet with customers and potential customers to counsel them on all of their moving needs on a daily basis. Their questions and concerns vary, from what they can or cannot pack to customs information and requirements at their new destinations. Understanding their moving concerns and the emotional roller coaster associated with what could be a very stressful time in their lives - relocating to a new environment - helps me provide them with a better, caring and empathetic service."
Elwine continued, "It's not easy, but at the end of the day, the hard work definitely paid off. That's the great thing about working at a company like Crown.
