Crown Donates to Children’s Charity

Crown, an international relocations, moving services company, specializing in moving and storage, private and corporate relocation services, supports the When You Wish Upon a Star charity. The organization helps make dreams come true for children who are suffering from life threatening illnesses. Crown's teams from across the UK and Ireland came together with tremendous effort to help raise donations for this great charity. A few of many fundraising activities undertaken by staff nationwide included competing in the Great North run, completing the Yorkshire Three Peaks Walk, skydiving, a black tie dinner and auction, and more! As part of Crown’s pledge to match the amount raised by the staff, the total contribution resulted was over 43,000 pounds or US$70,000!

Lisa Brown, East Midlands fundraisers support assistant of When You Wish Upon a Star, said, “We are absolutely delighted with the amount of money that the Crown Group has donated to our charity. Without the hard work of individuals, and the generosity of companies like Crown, we could not continue to fund the truly needed ‘wishes’ that we provide to some incredibly brave and courageous children. It has been amazing to work with such a dedicated and motivated team.”
