Katarina, has over 12 years of experience in international career development, strategic job search, and expatriate spouse support. She has advised UN staff on global staff mobility; trained and coached over 200 individuals, spouses and partners of UN staff on cross-cultural and US jobs search.

Her experience includes the United Nations and Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs and working in adult education in Finland.

Katarina grew up in Finland and is fluent in Swedish and Finnish in addition to English.  Her areas of expertise are strategic jobs search, cross-cultural career management; resume and CV writing, and mastering the US job interview and networking culture.

She has a Masters Degree in Social Science; Certifications in: Adult Career Planning and Placement; Cross-Cultural Competence from the Interchange Institute in Cambridge; Myers Briggs Type Indicator and the Strong Interest inventory. She is a speaker with the US Foreign Policy Association and has presented at the FIGT and SIETAR conferences about Cross-cultural Counseling and Finnish Culture.
