Originally from Scotland, Alison lived and worked in a number of locations across the UK before transferring to Switzerland in 1995 for a short term assignment. Since 2007, Alison has worked as an independent consultant and coach. Her clients are both multinational companies and individuals.

Alison has a degree in psychology and a certificate in coaching from Henley Business School in the UK. Alison‘s Human Resources and Line Management experience in hiring and transferring people locally and internationally confirmed her belief that the success of an expatriation is directly linked to the successful integration of the family at both professional and personal levels.

Alison enjoys combining her knowledge of recruitment, selection (CV preparation and interviewing techniques), salary negotiation, and personal development with her coaching experience that includes supporting people to prepare for new positions/ decide on future career directions and taking the next steps /recognising their true strengths and planning how to use them effectively /surviving and thriving in transitions, while being true to yourself.

Alison focuses on each person’s individual needs to help them “write the new and exciting page in their life” during their partner’s assignment in Swiss Romand.
